TCU continues the outdoor slate in College Station, Texas
FORT WORTH – TCU track and field continues outdoor season competition at the Texas A&M Invitational on Saturday, March 23 in College Station, Texas. The first field event begins at 12:30 p.m. and the running events start at 5:30 p.m.

TCU earned nine event wins at the season-opening TCU Alumni Invitational, which was highlighted by a new facility record in the men's 5000m and the javelin school record.
In her debut meet for the Purple and White, Maria Bienvenu recorded the new javelin school record with her throw of 52.41m (171-11). She broke the record on her first attempt.
Graydon Morris started off his outdoor season strong, running a 14:11.50 in the men's 5K, setting the Lowdon Complex facility record in the process. His winning time was also the fifth-fastest time in school history.
London Culbreath joined Morris as the 5K winner on the women's side with her time of 17:02.69. Peyton McQuillan (17:07.67), Mariana Martinez (17:14.06), and Olivia Andrews (17:38.17) finishing second, third and fourth, respectively.
In his first ever steeplechase, Stone Burke ran the fastest steeplechase by a Horned Frog since 1999 and the third-fastest steeplechase in school history, winning the event with a 9:26.22.
TCU again had two of the top finishers in the men's 1500m. Ryan Martin took first place with a 3:55.52 and Gabriel Diaz finished in third with a 3:57:17.
The Frogs swept the 400m, with Kelaiah Daniyan picking up the first win of her career with a 55.57. On the men's side, Dominic Byles ran 47.37 to grab first place.
Continuing the Frogs' winning ways was Teanna Harlin in the women's 100m with her time of 11.45. TCU had all the spots in the top three with Mikayla Hayes finishing in second (11.52) and Breanna Harlin taking third (11.72).
Quinn Calhoun notched a win in the women's pole vault with her winning height of 4.00m.

The Frogs sent Iyana Gray to the NCAA Indoor Championships. Gray, who won TCU's first-ever women's Big 12 200m Championship, garnered Second Team All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 200m.
In addition to Gray's first-place finish at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, four other Frogs garnered top three finishes at the Big 12 Indoor Championships. Tabitha Kalunde Ngao (1000m) earned silver while Lloyd Frilot (800m), Ryan Martin (1000m) and David Seete (600y) took bronze.
