No. 5 TCU faces two ranked opponents in Boca Raton, Fla.
FORT WORTH – No. 5 TCU continues its regular season slate at the FAU Beach Invitational in Boca Raton, Fla. The Horned Frogs start on March 15 against conference opponent No. 16 FAU at 6:50 a.m. TCU will also face No. 1 USC at 11:30 a.m. in a top-five matchup on Saturday.

FROG FOCUS
The No. 5 Horned Frogs defended the Fort last weekend – now boasting a 45-match winning streak at home. TCU downed SFA (4-1) and Tulane (4-1) and swept UC Davis and UAB. The Horned Frogs are now 11-1 and 2-0 in CUSA play. TCU has swept six opponents this season.
Hailey Hamlett and Anhelina Khmil had another perfect 4-0 weekend from the No. 1 spot and are currently 12-0 on the year.
Sutton MacTavish and Alex Parkhurst, who went 3-0 at the Horned Frog Challenge, have won seven consecutive matches as a duo. The Horned Frogs also saw two new pairings (Tara Patton/Josie Sek), (Anete Namike/Ana Vergara) go 3-0 at home.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
No. 16 FAU (9-4) most recently hosted the Capri Classic this past Tuesday, March 12. The Owls split the day, falling to No. 4 FSU (5-0), but downed FGCU (3-2). In CUSA play, FAU stands at 2-0. The Horned Frogs are tied with the Owls 4-4 in all-time matchups. The last time the two went head-to-head, TCU swept FAU at the Surf N' Turf Invitational (March 18, 2023).
FGCU (9-7) received two votes in this week's AVCA rankings. The Eagles traveled to Boca Raton earlier this week to the Capri Classic (March 12) and fell to No. 4 FSU (5-0) and then-No.15 FAU (3-2). In all-time history, TCU holds a 3-1 lead over FGCU. The Frogs most recently swept the Eagles at the TCU Invitational last season (April 7, 2023).
Palm Beach Atlantic (9-6) is a new foe for the Horned Frogs. The Sailfish travel to Boca Raton after a 4-1 weekend at the Eckerd Battle on the Bay. The team saw wins over Saint Leo (3-2), Missouri State (3-2) and Eckerd College (5-0) but was swept by Jacksonville.
No. 1 USC (12-2) travels to the FAU Beach Invitational after a perfect weekend at the Pac-12 South Invitational. The Women of Troy swept all their matchups against Utah, then-No. 14 Washington, then-No.19 Arizona and Oregon. Last season, TCU scored its first program win (4-1) against USC (March 17, 2023), but fell against them in the NCAA tournament, 3-2 (May 6, 2023). The Frogs trail the Women of Troy in all-time matchups 6-1.
