Stefania Salazar and Kennedy Calcagno will make the trip for the Frogs
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's triathlon team will be heading to Berkeley, Ca., to compete in the Bearathlon on Sunday, Oct. 27, marking their fifth race of the season.
The Bearathlon attracts top talent from across the country, offering a draft legal sprint, classic sprint, and mixed team relay. This will be the Horned Frogs final race before heading to Nationals on Nov. 9.
The No. 3 ranked Frogs will compete in the draft legal sprint, an NCAA Draft-Legal Sprint distance race: 750 meter swim, 20k bike, 5k run.
Stefania Salazar and Kennedy Calcagno will represent TCU this weekend. The event will only reflect individual scores, as team scores will not be calculated. Following their second place finish at Eastern Regionals on Oct. 12, the Horned Frogs are aiming for a strong finish at the Bearathlon.
