For the third consecutive season, the Horned Frogs land a spot in CCSA semifinals.

HUNTSVILLE, ALA. – No. 2 TCU beach volleyball (33-2) secured a semifinal spot in the CCSA Conference Championship Tournament after defeating sixth-seeded Missouri State, 5-0, and fourth-seeded Florida State, 3-2.

For the third consecutive season, the Horned Frogs secured a spot in the CCSA semifinals.

Three Frog pairings completed perfect 2-0 days: Daniela Alvarez/Tania Moreno, Sutton MacTavish/Hailey Hamlett and Rochelle Scott/Hailey Brockett.

"I'm very proud of the girls and of the whole team," said head coach Hector Gutierrez. "I think that the energetic atmosphere was on every single court. The girls were really locked in which is what we needed to today. We just beat FSU, which is the only team who has won this conference so far and that is really important for us. We are not done yet and we are really excited about being in the semis again. This year we need to really go for it and get everyone excited in order to win."

QUICK HITS AGAINST MISSOURI STATE:

Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno scored the first point of the day in straight sets from the No. 1 position: 21-6, 21-7.

Rochelle Scott and Hailey Brockett claimed the fourth consecutive point for the Frogs at the No. 5: 21-12, 21-11.
The duo improved to 23-3 on the season.
Scott tallied her 30th victory of the season and Brockett her 26th.
Anhelina Khmil and Kate Privett secured the sweep in straight sets from the No. 2 position: 21-16, 21-13.
The pairing improved to 15-4 this season.
Khmil notched her 27th win this season and Privett her 29th.
The Horned Frogs have won all 20 sets played against the Beach Bears all-time.
TCU remained perfect against Missouri State is now 4-0 all-time.

QUICK HITS AGAINST NO. 4 FLORIDA STATE:

Rochelle Scott and Hailey Brockett scored the first point of the dual in straight sets from the No. 5 position: 21-16, 21-11.
The pairing improved to 24-3 this season.
The duo notched their 12th ranked victory of the season.
Scott tallied her 31st victory of the season and Brockett her 27th.
