Anthony Crowder Named Big 12 Women's Diving Coach of the Year

First Big 12 Coaching Honor in Program History
FORT WORTH: TCU Head Diving Coach Anthony Crowder was honored by the Big 12 as the women's diving coach of the year.
The Big 12 honored Crowder for his team's outstanding performances this season. He sent a total of five women's divers to postseason events at NCAA Zone D Qualifiers.
Crowder, in his fifth season with TCU has steadily built the diving program since his arrival in 2018. Crowder completed the 2022-23 season with five women's divers at the NCAA Zone qualifiers, two freshmen. His divers litter the all-time TCU leader board setting all time marks this season.
Kwong earned the silver medal during the 1-meter finals at the Big 12 Championships, setting the new school record (348.90). Faith Harms-Zacharias finished the championship final in sixth place on the 1-meter as well.
Kwong also finished the 3-meter in sixth place with a score of 337.70. In the platform finals Kwong finished in fifth place with freshman Leah Fletcher in sixth.Kwong finished in second place during the dual meet with Texas A&M in both springboard events.
Crowder coached Anna Kwong to first place finish in the 1-meter at the SMU Invite and second place finish during the 3-meter finals.Freshman Lauren Cey completed the platform finals in fourth place.
Anna Kwong finished in seventh place in the 3-meter and 16th place in the 1-meter springboard events during the UCLA Diving Invite.
Crowder's divers won a total of four Big 12 weekly awards this season. Kwong earned three women's diver of the week honors while Cey took home a Big 12 women's newcomer of the week honors.
