Frogs set for final fall meet of the season
FORT WORTH – The TCU equestrian team is set to host No. 8 Baylor in its final fall meet of the season at 10 a.m. on Friday at Bear Creek Farms.
The Horned Frogs are undefeated through five meets for the first time since 2010 with four of the wins coming over ranked opponents. The program claimed the No. 1 NCEA dual discipline team ranking for the sixth consecutive week on Tuesday.
Mattie Dukes, Lilly Goldstein and Shea Graham were named NCEA October Riders of the Month on Nov. 2 and Big 12 Riders of the Month on Nov. 1. Dukes received the honors in Horsemanship after tallying a perfect 4-0 record during the month of October. The graduate student is 5-0 in the event and has been named the MOP three times this season.
Goldstein earned the honors in Flat after an undefeated collegiate start (4-0). The freshman has three ranked wins and a high score of 91 in the event. Graham earned her second career NCEA Reining Rider of the Month title and fourth Big 12 Rider of the Month award after a 4-0 sweep in each meet she competed in during the month of October.
Ashleigh Scully was the fourth Frog to earn Big 12 Rider of the Month accolades on Nov. 1. The senior earned the title in Fences after posting a 3-1 record in October with two of those wins coming over ranked opponents. It was her fourth career Conference monthly award.
Last Time Out
TCU clinched two wins over top-10 programs on Oct. 27 in doubleheader in Martin, Tenn. The Frogs took down No. 5 Georgia, 8-7 and No. 10 UT Martin, 12-7. Scully collected three MOP honors on the day with Giorgia Medows and Mattie Dukes collecting the honor in both Horsemanship events.
Against UT Martin the Frogs swept Horsemanship 5-0, tied Fences 2-2, edged the Skyhawks 3-2 in Reining and wrapped up the meet with a 3-2 win in Flat. Medows earned the MOP in Horsemanship after taking down her opponent 77-75. Scully earned two MOP honors against UTM with an 85 in Fences and 88 in Flat.
In the meet against Georgia the Horned Frogs fell in Fences 2-1, tied in Flat 2-2, swept Horsemanship for the third time this season (4-0) and fell to the Bulldogs 3-1 in Reining. Highlighting the meet was Scully who earned the MOP in Flat after setting a season high (90) and Dukes who earned the MOP in Horsemanship with a 75.

The Frogs took down No. 8 Baylor, 12-7, in Fort Worth on March 4, 2023. Wynne Weatherly and Jessica McAllister highlighted the meet brining home both the Flat and Reining Most Outstanding Performer honors. TCU was victorious in three of the four events winning 3-1 in Fences, 3-2 in Horsemanship and 4-1 in Reining.
