Jadon Wuilliez headed to the FINA Short Course World Championships

Wuilliez competes for the second consecutive year
FORT WORTH – Jadon Wuilliez has qualified for the FINA World Swimming Championships for the second consecutive year.
The meet will run from Dec. 13-Dec. 18 in Melbourne, Australia. Wuilliez will swim the 50 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke as he represents Antigua and Barbuda.
At the 2021 FINA World Swimming Championships, Wuilliez broke the Antigua national records in both the 50m breaststroke (26.98) and the 100m breaststroke (58.73). He also was a member of the 4x50 mixed freestyle and 4x50 mixed relay teams.
Wuilliez is having another stellar season with the Horned Frogs. At the Art Adamson Invitational, he notched a B cut with his fifth-place time of 52.63 in the 100 breaststroke. He also was a member of the 200 medley relay that swam a 1:26.35, the fourth fastest time in TCU history.
He is currently No. 2 in TCU history in the 50 freestyle (19.83) and in the 100 breaststroke as well (52.47). Wuilliez is also a member of the school-record holding 200 freestyle relay (1:18.76) and 400 freestyle relay (2:52.39) teams.
