David Ekdahl Named Big 12 Diver of the Week

Ekdahl's Second of the Season
FORT WORTH -- Following a historic performance at Texas A&M, sophomore David Ekdahl captures his second Men's Big 12 Diver of the Week award of the season.
On the boards, Ekdahl surpassed the TCU school record in the 1-meter, a record in which he previously held. The Swede dove an astounding 398.55 to break the record. He added to an already impressive performance with a score of 385.65 on the 3-meter board. In both dives, Ekdahl earned Zone Cuts. He has secured Zone Cuts in six out of six dives this season.
He previously won men's Big 12 Diver of the Week on Oct. 14. This award marks his fifth Men's Big 12 Diver of the week award in his collegiate career.
