More Records Fall, Ekdahl wins the 1-Meter

Geremia breaks the 200 IM
David Ekdahl continued his remarkable season on Friday taking home first-place honors in the 1-meter at SMU on Friday. The 400 freestyle relay team of Olivia Rhodes, Emma Hultquist, Lucia Simiovicova and Serena Gould broke the TCU school record with a time of 3:20.66.
In addition, Geremia Freri ties the school record in the 200 butterfly during the prelims. Following his record-breaking performance and a short 20-minute rest, he broke the school record in the 200 IM during a time trial.
Day three at Art Adamson concluded with Janis Silins, in the 200-yard breast securing his second B-cut of the Invitational clocking in 1:57.33.
Gould continued to impress individually in the 100 free swimming the second fastest time in program history at 49.73.
Lastly, in the men's 400 free relay of Milan Fabian, Raphael Paiva Da Lima, Jadon Wuilliez and Dusan Babic swam the fourth fastest time in school history.
At SMU, the dive team flooded the finals in the men's 1-meter with Max Burman, Ollie Cazaly and Alec Hubbard all joining Ekdahl in the championship. On the women's side, Anna Kwong secured second place in the final scoring 298.55 and a B-cut.
