No. 9 TCU Beach Volleyball faces four ranked opponents in South Carolina
FORT WORTH – No. 9 TCU beach volleyball (14-3) heads to Columbia, SC this weekend, where they will face four top-20 opponents. The Horned Frogs are on a seven-game winning streak dating back to March 13.

FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs are coming off a 4-0 showing at the Fight in the Fort. TCU defeated Texas A&M – Kingsville, Louisiana-Monroe (twice) and Stephen F. Austin.
TCU won each of their four matches via 5-0 sweeps, giving the Frogs their fifth consecutive match win at 5-0 for the first time in program history. The Horned Frogs have won half of their matches this season in clean sweeps.
The Horned Frogs will be playing all four teams this weekend for the second time. TCU has already defeated South Carolina and Georgia State this season and will be looking for revenge against both Stetson and Florida State.
The top two pairs head into the weekend on a seven-match winning streak. The No. 1 pairing, Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno Mateeva sit at, 15-2, as a pair and the No. 2 pairing, Olivia Blackburn and Hailey Brockett, boast the best winning percentage on the team, 14-1.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
No. 15 South Carolina enters play after a 4-1 weekend at the LSU Beach Invitational in Baton Rouge, La. The Gamecocks beat four unranked opponents and dropped their match vs No. 3 LSU, 1-4. The Horned Frogs won, 3-2, against South Carolina the last time they met up at the 2021 Stetson Spring Fling.
No. 17 Georgia State will go toe-to-toe with the Horned Frogs again this weekend, after the Frogs took down GSU at the March to May, 4-1. The Panthers enter the weekend on a six-game winning streak.
No. 2 Florida State enters the weekend with the highest winning streak in the country, 17-0. The Seminoles capped of their weekend with their 10th ranked win of the season over No. 12 FAU. FSU swept the Horned Frogs, 5-0, in their last match up at the March to May tournament in Gulf Shores, Ala.
No. 16 Stetson heads into the weekend, 12-6, after a, 1-3, weekend at the FAU Beach Bash where they fell to No. 2 Florida State, No. 12 Florida Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coast, only securing a win over UAB. The Hatters registered a pair of wins in their mid-week double header against No. 20 Florida Gulf Coast earlier this week. The Hatters took the win over the Horned Frogs at the 2021 Stetson Spring Fling, 2-3.
