ABOUT THE GAME
• After two road games with an open date sandwiched in between, TCU returns home for the first time in nearly a month when it hosts No. 23 Oklahoma State on Saturday at 11 a.m.
• With six home games and road contests at Texas and Baylor, eight of the Horned Frogs' 10 scheduled contests in 2020 are in state.
• Last Saturday's 59-23 win at Kansas was Gary Patterson's 250th game as TCU's head coach. He has a 176-74 record (.704).
• TCU is facing Oklahoma State in Fort Worth for just the fourth time in its nine seasons in the Big 12. Upon entering the conference in 2012, TCU inherited Texas A&M's league schedule in which the Aggies owed the Cowboys an extra home game. TCU played at Oklahoma State in consecutive seasons in 2012 and 2013, before hosting the Cowboys for the
first time in 2014.
• The game features the all-time winningest head coaches at both schools. Patterson has 176 victories at TCU, while Mike Gundy has 135 for OSU.
• TCU is 27-27 versus ranked opponents under Patterson.
• The Horned Frogs are 90-27 in 20 seasons under Patterson at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
SERIES HISTORY
• Oklahoma State holds a 16-12-2 edge in the all-time series with TCU.
• The Horned Frogs have won two of the last three games with the Cowboys and are 3-3 in the past six.
• TCU is 7-5-2 versus Oklahoma State in Fort Worth, 4-9 in Stillwater, 1-1 in a pair of meetings (1943, 1946) in Oklahoma City and 0-1 in Dallas (1945 Cotton Bowl).
FAMILIAR FACES
• TCU defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Chad Glasgow was a three-year letterman (1991- 93) at linebacker for Oklahoma State. He was also a graduate assistant (1994-95) under former head coach Bob Simmons.
• TCU inside receivers/tight ends coach Doug Meacham was a three-year starter (1985-87) on the Cowboys' offensive line. He earned All-Big Eight honors and was a team captain and honorable mention All-American as a senior. Meacham blocked for 1988 Heisman Trophy winner Barry Sanders and two-time Big Eight Player of the Year Thurman Thomas.
• Oklahoma State associate head coach/offensive coordinator/receivers coach Kasey Dunn was TCU's cornerbacks coach in 2003.
• Oklahoma State defensive analyst Chris Thurmond was a TCU defensive backs coach in 1995 as well as 1998-2000, Gary Patterson's three seasons as the Horned Frogs' defensive coordinator. Thurmond was also Houston's interim head coach when it lost 20-13 to TCU in the 2007 Texas Bowl.
TCU NOTABLES
• Over the last six seasons, TCU has the Big 12's third-best conference record (37-25) and overall mark (56-30).
• TCU is one of just seven programs nationally to finish in the top 10 of the final polls at least three times (2014, 2015, 2017) in the last six seasons. The others are Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Penn State.
• TCU had five 11-win seasons last decade, equaling the combined number of the 11 other FBS programs in Texas.
• Patterson, at 20 seasons, is the nation's second-longest tenured head coach, trailing only Iowa's Kirk Ferentz (22nd year).
• Patterson recently released two music singles in which he wrote and provided lead vocals on, "Take A Step Back" and "Game On."
• The Horned Frogs have just nine scholarship seniors on this year's team.

• TCU has 16 sacks in the last four games after totaling five in the opening four contests.
• Defensive end Ochaun Mathis has a team-best 7.0 sacks, tied for second in the Big 12 and 11th nationally. He has 6.0 sacks in the last three games.
• Defensive end Khari Coleman tops all freshmen nationally with 11.5 tackles for loss. It ranks fourth overall in the Big 12 and tied for 15th in the FBS.
• Derius Davis is second nationally in punt return average at 23.4 yards, a mark on pace to break the TCU season record of 20.8 set last year by Philadelphia Eagles' first-round pick Jalen Reagor.
