Mokaleng, a sophomore from South Africa, made his outdoor debut in the 400m at the Sun Devil Classic. He proceeded to get second place by running a personal record 45.17, the best time in division one. This time is the third-fastest in school history.
Mokaleng and the rest of the track and field team compete this weekend at the Tom Jones Memorial in Gainesville, Florida.
Bruner, a sophomore from Conroe, Texas, was second individually at 4-over-par 220 to lead the Horned Frogs to a fourth-place finish after the final round of the Bruzzy Challenge. Bruner posted the best finish of her TCU career. It was her third straight top-15 result and the third consecutive tournament in which she was the Horned Frogs' top finisher.
Bruner and the women's golf team return to action April 20 when TCU hosts the Big 12 Championship at the Dallas Athletic Club.
