Rifle Sits Third After Smallbore

Kentucky took home the team smallbore National Championship with a score of 2,345. West Virginia sits second, just one point ahead of the Horned Frogs with a 2,327. Rounding out the final five were Murray State (2,324), Air Force (2,319), Alakska (2,312), Nebraska (2,310) and Ohio State (2,310).
Grabowski, Rachel Garner and Mindy Miles opened the competition in the first relay. Grabowski paced the team with a 585, followed by a 580 from Garner and a 579 from Miles.
In relay two, the Frogs sent Casey Lutz and Elizabeth Marsh to the line. Marsh fired a 581 followed by a 580 from Lutz.
In the individual final, Grabowski qualified in fifth. She ultimately finished fourth after shooting a 432.0 in the final.
The NCAA Championships conclude on Saturday with the air rifle competition. Relay one is slated to begin at 8:45 a.m. (CT).
