Moore, a junior center from Round Rock, Texas, has led TCU women's basketball into the WNIT semifinals for the first time in program history, scoring 15 and 26 points in road games at New Mexico and South Dakota, respectively, last week. The Frogs enter the WNIT semifinals as the only team to have won road games, doing so against New Mexico and South Dakota teams who were 19-2 and 17-1 at home, respectively, entering the games. Moore is averaging 17.8 points and 7.5 rebounds in TCU's WNIT four games. She has made 30-of-35 shots in the tournament, good for 85.7 percent.
Moore and the Frogs play at Indiana in the WNIT semifinals on Wednesday night. A win would put the Frogs into the WNIT Championship game on Saturday against either West Virginia or Virginia Tech. The location of that game will be announced after Wednesday's semifinals.
Wymer, a junior pitcher from Flower Mound, Texas, tossed a career-high 7 2/3 innings against Kansas State and tied his career high with nine strikeouts. He faced just 27 batters in his 7 2/3 innings on the mound. In five of those innings, he faced the minimum three batters.
Wymer and the Frogs will wrap up their eight game homestand Tuesday night when they host Dallas Baptist at 6:30 p.m. After that, TCU baseball hits the road for a three game series against Oklahoma State.
