COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The TCU men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the NCAA South Central Regional meet on Friday, Nov. 9, in College Station. Entering the meet, the women's team ranks ninth in the region.
MEET INFO
The women's 6,000m is scheduled for a 9:15 a.m. start, with the men's 10,000m to follow at 10:15 a.m. Live results and splits are available via Flash Results.
LAST TIME OUT
TCU competed at the Big 12 Championship meet, where the women's team finished eighth and only 10 points out of sixth place. Six Horned Frogs on the women's side ran season-bests, led by Evelyn Mandel and Kirsten Johnston at 21:11.7 and 21:39.1 respectively. Lindsay Tomaini was the third Frog across the finish line, recording a personal-best 21:40.9. Seniors Elizabeth Baker and Erin Barth, and freshman Isabella Aguiar, all recorded season-bests as well, finishing in 23:04.7, 23:16.1, and 23:30.3 respectively.
On the men's side, TCU was once again led by freshmen Sean Byrne and Lakelin Conrad, who finished 38th and 41st respectively. Patrick LaCour and Henry Butz both finished with season-best marks of 26:49.1 and 26:52.4 respectively.
