
TCU Concludes Day One in Miami

MIAMI, Fla. – The TCU swimming and diving team began competition at the TYR Fall Classic on Friday. After day one, TCU's men's team sits at fourth in the standings with the women in sixth.
HIGHLIGHTS
Several Frogs finished second in the "A" flight of their respective events. Isabella Ashdown finished second in the women's 1-meter dive, scoring 250.55. In the men's 400 IM, Dayne Odendaal finished second with a 4:02.30 mark. Emily Visagie finished second in the women's 100 breast with a time of 1:04.72. Joao Andrade recorded high finishes in two events, placing second in the men's 200 free (1:41.23) and third in the men's 100 back (51.10).
Other Frogs recorded strong performances in "B" flights. Ally Robertson won her 400 IM flight with a time of 4:30.47. On the men's side, a quartet of Frogs finished third in their flights. Michael Chwaluk swam 51.34 in the 100 fly, Jackson Boersma swam 21.44 in the 50 free, Odendaal swam 58.57 in the 100 breast, and Brendan Barry swam 51.90 in the 100 back.
