Team Notes
* TCU and Kansas met for the first time since the Horned Frogs defeated the No. 1 Jayhawks, 85-82, in the quarterfinals of last year's Big 12 Championship.
* TCU trailed at the half (42-34) for the first time this season.
* The Horned Frogs were 21-of-22 at the free-throw line for a 95.4 percentage, the third-best effort in a game in program history with at least 20 attempts.
* TCU's two losses this season are by a combined five points to No. 7 Oklahoma and No. 10 Kansas.
* The Horned Frogs held a 42-28 rebounding advantage, including 19-8 on the offensive end. TCU outboarded its opponent for the 13th time in 15 games this season.
* TCU had at least 19 offensive rebounds for the third straight game and fourth time in the past five contests.
* TCU fell to 9-2 at home this season and 24-8 in two years under head coach Jamie Dixon in Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.
* The Horned Frogs have 37 wins in 1 1/2 seasons under Dixon after totaling 50 victories in their first four seasons in the Big 12 (2012-16).

Individual Notes
* Vladimir Brodziansky had a team-best 20 points, including 16 in the second half, to break a tie with Ricky Hall and move into sole possession of 27th place on TCU's career scoring list with 1,080 points. Next on the chart is Jeff Jacobs at No. 26 with 1,081 points (1993-97).
* Brodziansky's 20 points were his most since scoring 22 against Belmont Nov. 29.
* Brodziansky reached double figures for the sixth consecutive game.
* Brodziansky was 10-of-10 at the free-throw line, tying a single-game TCU record for percentage (100.0) by players with at least 10 attempts.
* Brodziansky equaled a career-high for makes (10) in a game at the charity stripe. It's his fourth time with 10 free-throws made.
* Kenrich Williams posted his seventh double-double on the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
* All 11 of Williams' points came in the second half.
* Williams has scored in double figures in 12 of the 14 games played this season. He also had his 10th straight game with a 3-pointer.
* Jalen Fisher, who scored 16 points, equaled a career-high with four 3-pointers. He made his first three attempts in a 1:21 span of the first half. His also had four 3-pointers last season at Texas.
* Fisher has made at least one trey in 26 of his last 32 games and 39-of-49 career contests.
* Fisher reached double figures for the third time in the last four games and ninth time this season.
* Desmond Bane had 13 points. He has reached double figures in scoring in all but two games this season.
* Ahmed Hamdy's six rebounds were one shy of a season-high seven versus Texas Southern Dec. 18.
* Alex Robinson had a team-best seven assists.
