FORT WORTH -- TCU opens the 2017-2018 season at North Texas on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. and hosts UT-Permian Basin in its home opener on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
TCU NOTABLES
•The swimming and diving coaching staff will debut their three new coaches, head coach Sam Busch, and assistants Keith Dawley and Kelsie Saxe.
•TCU returns 22 men, 24 women, and welcomes 11 freshmen.
TCU VS NORTH TEXAS SERIES HISTORY
•This season marks the fifth-straight year the Horned Frogs will begin the season in Denton.
•TCU last defeated North Texas in the 2014-2015 season and is 3-2 against the Mean Green since 2011-2012.
TCU VS UT-PERMIAN BASIN SERIES HISTORY
•This is the third-consecutive year TCU hosts UTPB in the home opener.
•The Horned Frogs are 4-0 against the Falcons dating back to 2011.
