Horned Frogs Take Down UCSB

FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 31 TCU men's tennis team continued its winning ways on Monday afternoon and got its third straight victory on its California road trip with a 6-1 win over UCSB at the RecCen Tennis Courts in Santa Barbara, Calif.
The Horned Frogs (8-4) jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the match as they quickly took the wins on courts two and three in doubles. Cameron Norrie and Gianni Mancini were on the board first with a 6-2 win before No. 27 Guillermo Nuñez and Alex Rybakov sealed the point with a 6-2 win of their own on court two.
Reese Stalder got his first singles win of the trip with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court five to put TCU up 2-0 in the match. No. 23 Norrie stayed undefeated on the year and earned his ninth victory with a 6-3, 6-0 win at the top spot to put the Frogs up 3-0. No. 93 Nuñez clinched the overall match victory with a straight-set win on court three for his fifth victory of the road trip. After the match was already decided, Rybakov and Jerry Lopez finished off the day with three-set wins on courts two and four, respectively.
