March 10, 2017 HOW ABOUT THOSE FROGS!
It's been great to see the excitement surrounding our men's basketball program after its victories over Oklahoma and Kansas at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship. There's a lot of TCU purple in Kansas City right now, and I have a hunch more is on the way for tonight's 6 p.m. semifinal game versus Iowa State. Head Coach Jamie Dixon and his student-athletes are feeding off your energy and support!

SHOPPING SPREE
Our very popular Spring Sale is returning Saturday, April 22! As it was last time, the event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the visiting team locker room in Amon G. Carter Stadium. You'll enter through the loading dock in Lot 2. We'll have more info to come as the date nears!
RENEWAL REMINDER
We very much appreciate everyone who has already renewed their football season tickets. We're ahead of last year's pace! If you haven't completed your renewal yet, please note the Friday, March 24, deadline is fast approaching. Just CLICK HERE or contact The Parrish Family Athletics Ticket Office at 817.257.3764 (FROG) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

FROGVISION
While we still have work to do, we are very proud of the improvements we've made with FrogVision, our streaming product through CBS at home athletics events. We now utilize a multi-camera high-definition production with replays and a score bug. It's what you see on the video board in our venues. There are still glitches we're working through, but I can assure you this is a priority for us.
We do have occasional scheduling issues arise when we have overlapping sports on the same day. Most recently, it occurred Feb. 25 with men's and women's home basketball games and a home baseball game. Because of two events taking place in the facility, we made the decision that day to focus our efforts in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena instead of Lupton Stadium. Because of the standards we've now set, we didn't want to then have an inferior product for baseball. We understand and apologize for the frustration some of you felt not having a baseball stream available that day.
Please note the streams are only available when games are not televised.
RIFF RAM APP
As a reminder, the Riff Ram app is the only mobile app for TCU Athletics. There's been some confusion with folks still trying to access and finding outdated information on an old GoFrogs app that is no longer operational through CBS. If you still have the GoFrogs app, please delete it and use only the Riff Ram app for up-to-date news, scores and stats to assist in following the Horned Frogs.
BEST IN THE BUSINESS
Congrats to Brian Estridge, John Denton and Landry Burdine for once again being recognized by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters Association for providing the state's Best Sports Play-by-Play! This award is well deserved! As you know, that terrific trio does an outstanding job with the football radio call through WBAP!

COODY CLASSIC NEARING
Online registration is now open for the 20th-annual TCU Coody & Coaches Classic April 28 at Texas Star Golf Club in Euless! Just CLICK HERE to secure your sponsorship today. All our prizes come straight from the Masters! Coaches from all sports will be present, and you'll have a chance to visit with our very own 1971 Masters champion Charles Coody!
NO. 1 SAYS THANK YOU
Our top-ranked baseball program truly appreciates the support last weekend in Houston at the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic, especially the very loyal throng that stayed until 2 a.m. Sunday for our dramatic 15-inning victory over Texas A&M! It was great to see Minute Maid Park turn into a sea of purple!

IMPRESSIVE WIN
Men's tennis student-athlete Cameron Norrie is a two-time All-American and the highest-rated collegian in the ATP Professional Rankings. Although we dropped a tough 4-3 decision to No. 3 Wake Forest Monday, Cameron recorded an impressive 6-2, 6-3, straight-sets victory over the nation's No. 1-ranked player in Petros Chrysochos of the Demon Deacons.

ANOTHER NATIONAL TITLE FOR BAKER
Two-time NCAA champion Ronnie Baker is still representing the Horned Frogs at the highest level! In case you missed it over the weekend, Ronnie won the 60-meter dash at the 2017 USATF Indoor Championships. His 6.45 marked the sixth-fastest time ever recorded. Fellow TCU national champion

Lorraine Ugen also competed last weekend, winning silver in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships. Lorraine set a new British indoor record with a mark of 6.97 meters (22 feet 10.5 inches).
ON THE DOCKET
If you're one of our many SoCal Horned Frogs, make sure to catch our baseball team in action this weekend with its three-game series at UC Irvine. We'll then play Tuesday at Long Beach State. Beach volleyball will also be at LBSU Tuesday to begin a five-day six-match swing through California. If you're up in Northern California, our men's tennis team is headed your way! We have matches Friday and Saturday at Cal and Stanford, respectively.

Rifle, undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the nation, heads to Columbus, Ohio, this weekend for the NCAA Championships. Our indoor track and field program also has its NCAA Championships this weekend in College Station. Women's tennis begins Big 12 play with road matches at Kansas and Kansas State, while equestrian will travel to Texas A&M.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Edition's Answer: The great John Candy, in the 1987 comedy classic Planes, Trains & Automobiles, said, "You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you... but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I'm not changing. I like... I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get."

This Week's Question: "You tell me to eat lima beans, I'll eat lima beans."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
The Ocean State University soccer team won the NCAA Championship this year. The NCAA will be providing each member of the team with a championship gift. There are two student-athletes on the team that did not attend the championship. One has been academically ineligible all year and the other is serving a year in residence for transferring.
Can the NCAA provide a gift to these two student-athletes?
No. NCAA Official Interpretation - 12/12/94 - National or Conference Championship Awards to Ineligible Student-Athletes - states that it is not permissible for an institution or conference (or organization approved by either) to provide awards in recognition of conference or national championships to student-athletes who were not eligible to represent the institution in intercollegiate competition during the applicable sport season.
