Team Notes
* The Frogs improved to 3-0 this season as a ranked team. TCU is 41-16 all-time as a ranked team, including a 20-2 record at home. TCU is ranked No. 20 in the AP top-25 poll. It's the Frogs highest ranking since 1999.
* TCU won its 14th straight game. The current streak is TCU's second longest winning streak in school history. The Frogs currently hold the longest winning streak in the NCAA, and is one of 13 undefeated teams.
* This was the 192nd meeting between TCU and SMU. It's TCU's most-played series. The Frogs' 94 points was the most points scored by either team for first time since Jan. 27, 2001, when TCU defeated SMU 100-91.
* TCU led 43-38 at the half against SMU. The Frogs are 29-2 when leading at the half under Dixon and are 9-0 this year.
* An announced crowd of 6,840 was the third-largest crowd ever at Schollmaier Arena.
* TCU shot 57 percent from the field. It was the sixth time this season TCU had shot at least 50. The Frogs are 16-3 when shooting 50 percent or better under head coach Jamie Dixon.
* TCU outrebounded SMU 31-24, making TCU 31-5 when outrebounding its opponent under Jamie Dixon. The Horned Frogs are 40-6 in outrebounding the opponent over the past three seasons.
* TCU improved to 24-2 against non-conference opponents under Jamie Dixon.
* TCU was 30-of-37 from the free throw line, the most made this season.
* TCU shot 50 percent from 3-point range, the second time this season it's done so. The first was against Tennessee Tech (55.2 percent).
* The Frogs out-assisted their opponent for the eighth time this season. TCU had 21 while the Mustangs had 20. This is TCU's sixth game with 20 or more assists this season.
Individual Notes
* Kenrich Williams hit a 3-pointer for the eighth-straight game and had a career-high five 3-pointers (5-of-6). Williams played all 40 minutes against SMU, the most he's played in regulation. He had a career high in points with 27, leading the team.
* Jaylen Fisher tied his season high with nine assists, his seventh straight game with at least five assists. * Desmond Bane had 14 points. He has scored in double-digits every game this season.
* Ahmed Hamdy entered the game having made 12 of his last 17 field goal attempts, and he was 4-for-5 against SMU, scoring 10 points.
* Kouat Noi had a career-high 16 points against the Mustangs, shooting 3-for-3 from the 3-point line, the most in his career.
* Vladimir Brodziansky had one block against SMU, improving his career total to 131. He is two blocks away from tying Reggie Smith for the fourth-most career blocks at TCU. Brodziansky is 41 blocks from passing James Penny for the TCU record (171).
* TCU was without junior guard Alex Robinson, who suffered a left ankle injury during the game with Yale on Dec. 2.
