Bowers Reaches Finals on UT Invite Day One

FORT WORTH, Texas – The TCU diving team started competition at the University of Texas Diving Invitational on Thursday, competing in the men's one-meter and women's three-events.
FRESHMAN IN THE FINALS
Freshman diver Derek Bowers advanced to the final round in the one-meter dive with a score of 260.35. In the finals, Bowers finished seventh with a score of 289.05.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
Megan White was the highest scorer for TCU's women, compiling a score of 231.60 and finished tenth.
DAY TWO
Competition continues in Austin on Friday with the men competing in the three-meter dive and the women in the one-meter. The women start things with the preliminary round at 11 a.m. with the men's following at 12:45 p.m. The women's final round is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. and the men's is at 5:35 p.m. The final rounds will air on the Longhorn Network.
