FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU diving team will send its six divers to Austin, Texas, for a three-day meet starting Thursday, Nov. 16.
THE DIVERS
Derek Bowers, Owen Moncino, Andrew Shurtleff, Grace Newell, Ty Sides, and Megan White will represent the Horned Frogs in Austin. In the home-opener, Shurtleff recorded the men's team's highest one-meter score this season (294.53). Against South Dakota, Bowers and Moncino won both diving events with Bowers winning the one-meter and Moncino winning the three-meter. On the women's side, White has the top scores in both one and three-meters with scores of 285.76 and 275.40, both of which came against UTPB. Against Kansas, Ty Sides won the one-meter, while Newell won the three-meter.
MEET INFO
TCU will compete against divers from host Texas, the University of Miami, and BYU. Each day of the meet will feature a different diving event with the prelims and finals going in the same day.
