Team Notes
* TCU has won nine of its last 10 games.
* TCU hit 100 points for the first time since scoring 106 against Mississippi State on November 24, 2014
* TCU finished with 16 3-pointers, the most since March 13, 2008. On that date, TCU had 17 3-pointers against UNLV to match the school record set against Grambling State on Dec. 30.
* TCU shot 62.5 percent from the field, the ninth-best in school history. It was the best shooting effort for the Frogs since Dec. 27, 1998 when they shot 65.9 percent against Oklahoma.
* TCU improved to 1-0 all-time against Tennessee Tech and is 5-2 all time against teams from the Ohio Valley Conference.
* TCU improved to 24-5 under Jamie Dixon when outrebounding its opponent after outboarding Tennessee Tech 37-27. Jamie Dixon improved his career record to 288-53 when outrebounding the other team.
* TCU continues a stretch where it plays three games in five days when it hosts South Dakota on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m.
* The Frogs won their first game in the Emerald Coast Classic with the win over Tennessee Tech. TCU's game on November 20 against Omaha is also part of the event along with the games played in Destin, Fla., over Thanksgiving weekend.
Individual Notes
* Sophomore guard Desmond Bane scored 24 points, a career high, and tied his career high in assists at four. He also broke his career high in field goals with nine, and his career high in field goal attempts with 13.
* Bane finished 6-of-10 from 3-point range. His six 3-pointers were a career high. It was the most 3-pointers in a game by a TCU player since Hank Thorns hit eight threes against UNLV on Feb. 14, 2012. It was Bane's sixth consecutive game with a made 3-pointer.
* Junior forward JD Miller had a season high in points with 17, and a season high in rebounds with nine, which led the team.
* Dalton Dry broke his career high in points with six.
* Senior forward Vladimir Brodziansky had three blocked shots to increase his career total to 122, which is 11 behind Reggie Smith who played from 1989-1992 and ranks No. 4 in blocked shots.
* Junior Alex Robinson led the team with nine assists and had nine points.
* All 12 TCU players who dressed for the game, logged minutes including Clayton Crawford who made his collegiate basketball debut.
