Diarse, a junior wide receiver from Monroe, La., lit up the field in Dallas last week as TCU beat SMU 33-3. Diarse caught six passes for 139 yards and one touchdown. Only leading by three points, Kenny Hill found Diarse for a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the third quarter. He currently leads the team in receiving yards and ranks eighth in the conference in receiving yards per game.
No. 19 TCU (3-1, 1-0) is set to return to the field as they welcome the Oklahoma Sooners to Amon G. Carter Stadium at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.
Mikals, a senior from Colleyville, Texas, continued to play an important role in the Horned Frogs' success this year. Mikals scored a double-double with 16 kills and 16 digs in a 3-0 win against Texas Tech. She followed that up with a triple-double four days later in a 3-2 win over Iowa State. Mikals became the sixth player in TCU volleyball history to score a triple-double as she finished with 10 kills, 10 digs and 10 total blocks.
TCU (9-3, 2-0) returns to action to take on West Virginia on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m., CT, inside the WVU Coliseum.
