Norris clinched her second match this season after downing Middle Tennessee State's Darya Shulzhanok at the No. 1 spot, 6-3, 6-4. Norris' effort helped the Horned Frogs top MTSU 7-0 in their first sweep of the dual match season.
The women's tennis team (2-1) returns to action at Stanford on Feb. 13 before traveling to Tulsa, Okla., to face Tulsa and UCF on Feb. 19 and 20, respectively.
Trent led the way in TCU's second half domination against Tennessee en route to a 75-63 victory. The sophomore guard scored a team-high 15 points in the game, scoring 14 of his 15 points in the second half. The Horned Frogs overcame a 14-point deficit as Trent led TCU in scoring for the seventh time this season.
Up next, the men's basketball team will host the Kansas Jayhawks at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 inside Schollmaier Arena.
