TCU Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH -- Connor Dobbs of swimming and Mindy Miles of rifle have been named TCU's Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week based on impressive performances.

Dobbs, a native of Southlake, Texas, placed first in both distance events against West Virginia on Saturday. The sophomore recorded top times of 9:37.57 in the 1000-yard freestyle and 4:39.75 in the 500-yard freestyle.

Men's swimming and diving will return to action in Austin, Texas on Feb. 5 as they continue with a conference matchup against Texas.

Miles, a native of Weatherford, Texas, continued her impressive sophomore campaign as she led all shooters in competition against Ohio State Sunday afternoon. Miles' mark of 597 helped the Horned Frogs put together the second-highest score in program history (2,377).

After TCU's win, they improved to 9-0 on the season. The Frogs will return to the rifle range at Murray State on Jan. 23.
