Sept. 17, 2015 WHITE OUT
We begin this week's edition with a special thank you to Chancellor Boschini. For Saturday night's "white-out" football game with SMU, our wonderful Chancellor is providing complimentary white t-shirts to the first 2,000 students in attendance at Amon G. Carter Stadium. More so than ever, make sure to arrive early!

SRO TIX AVAILABLE
As you probably know, Saturday's 7 p.m. home football game versus SMU is sold out. A limited number of standing room only (SRO) tickets remain available. CLICK HERE to make your purchase.
GAMEDAY PARKING
As a reminder to all fans attending Saturday's football game, there is no general parking on TCU's campus. All lots are reserved parking. If you do not have reserved parking, you can take advantage of the numerous off-campus lots that have a free shuttle service. CLICK HERE for a complete listing of these lots and directions.

GO PURPLE FRIDAY
Make sure to take advantage of all the great deals around Fort Worth through our very popular Go Purple Friday initiative. Please CLICK HERE for a listing of all our Go Purple Friday partners and their special discounts and offers.
HONOR ROLL
It's now a hat trick of Big 12 honors for volleyball's Regan McGuire! For the second straight week, she's been named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week. She was previously the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. A junior from Flower Mound, Texas, Regan has been instrumental in volleyball opening its season with an 8-1 record.

THE FLOOR
Great progress continues to be made in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena. The new video board was recently hung, and the floor is now being installed.

ON THE DOCKET
Highlighted by our sold-out home football game with SMU, it's another full weekend for the Horned Frogs. Prior to football, we actually begin the weekend with a pair of Friday night games at SMU. Soccer faces the Mustangs at 7 p.m., while volleyball is in a tournament in Dallas. We have matches at SMU on Friday at 10:30 a.m. versus UTSA and 7:30 p.m. against the Mustangs. We'll also play Clemson on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Dallas.

Soccer returns home Sunday at 1 p.m. to host UTSA. Men's and women's tennis will be represented in various tournaments this weekend, while equestrian opens its season with the Purple and White Scrimmage.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Chevy Chase, in his iconic role as Clark Griswold in Vacation, said to Randy Quaid as Cousin Eddie, "Real tomato ketchup, Eddie?"

This Week: "A dog is very easy to break, but cats make you work for their affection. They don't sell out the way dogs do."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Ocean State University is going to have a career fair for its entire student body the first Wednesday in October. Because the majority of student-athletes will be unable to attend this fair due to class, practice and/or competition schedules, the Athletic Department is going to host a separate career fair just for student-athletes the following Friday. Is it permissible for an institution to host a career fair exclusively for student-athletes?
Yes. NCAA Bylaw 12.3.1.3 states that a student-athlete may use career counseling and internship/job placement services available exclusively to student-athletes, provided the student-athlete is not placed in a position in which the student-athlete uses his or her athletics ability. (Adopted: 4/28/11)
