EMPLOYMENT NOTE
With the summer approaching, please note that TCU supporters are permitted to employ TCU student-athletes. However, there are certain NCAA regulations that must be adhered to in order to employ a student-athlete. First, a student-athlete must be paid for work that he or she performs. A student-athlete must also be paid the going rate as an individual with similar training or experience. He or she may not be paid more because of his/her status as a student-athlete. The student-athlete's compensation may not include any payment for value or utility that the student-athlete may have for the employer because of the publicity, reputation, fame or personal following that he or she has obtained because of athletics ability.
The TCU Athletics Compliance Office requires all student-athletes to file paperwork anytime they obtain new employment. Upon receiving proper notification of employment, the TCU Athletics Compliance Office will send a letter to the student-athlete's employer informing them that the employee is a student-athlete and the relevant NCAA legislation applicable to his or her employment.
HALL OF FAMER
Congratulations Lance Brown! We were proud to see our TCU baseball legend inducted earlier this week into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame. Lance remains an important member of the Horned Frog family. Included below is part of the TCU contingent that made its way to Austin to be with Lance at his induction.

RANKINGS UPDATE
Our sports programs continue to be recognized for their great spring! Baseball is ranked No. 1 in the nation, men's tennis is 10th and women's tennis is 17th. We're one of just 11 programs nationally to have both its men's and women's tennis programs in the top 20. Men's golf is now up to No. 31, while our women have been playing their best golf of the season with back-to-back third-place finishes. Track and field has just started its outdoor season and has had some top performances in its meets. We closed the indoor season with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championships, while Ronnie Baker won the national title in the 60 meters.

COODY CLASSIC NEARING
We still have space available in the 8 a.m. round for the April 20 TCU Coody & Coaches Classic, presented by SODEXO, at Texas Star Golf Course in Euless. Prizes include authentic gear straight from the Augusta National Golf Club. To register, please CLICK HERE. You can also call (817) 257-7700.

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Julie Hagerty, as stewardess Elaine Dickinson in Airplane!, asked her passengers, "By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?"

This Week: "Oh sir, the Giants of New York took on the Packers of Green Bay. And in the end, the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big H. It was a most ripping victory."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Clay Court is a full athletic scholarship men's tennis student-athlete at Ocean State University (OSU). Clay was also awarded an academic scholarship, so his athletic aid was reduced pursuant to NCAA financial aid limits. His equivalency against team limits is now 75 percent. Clay is going to attend summer school and OSU would like to provide athletic aid to help with expenses. Which of the following is a true statement?
A. Clay may receive a 75 percent scholarship to attend summer school
B. Clay may receive a full scholarship to attend summer school
C. Clay may not receive any athletic aid to attend summer school
D. None of the above
The answer is B. NCAA Bylaw 15.2.8.1.2.3 states that if an institution provides a student-athlete with a full athletics grant during the academic year but is required to reduce the grant in accordance with Bylaw 15.1.4 (reduction when excess aid is awarded), the institution may provide the student-athlete full athletically-related financial aid to attend the institution's summer term.
