BASEBALL POSTPONEMENT
In case you missed it, our Tuesday night baseball home game with Texas Southern has been rescheduled for tonight at 6:30 p.m.
FROM THE HARD HATS
Work continues at a great pace on the renovation of our basketball facility. We're proud to say that 95 percent of the materials that were part of the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum demolition were recycled.

BIG WINS
Congratulations to our men's golf program on winning the Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif., last weekend! We rallied from a nine-stroke deficit over the final 18 holes to edge Texas Tech by one shot for the title. With a final round 3-under 69, Paul Barjon finished in second place individually. He was one of three Horned Frogs in the top 10.

STAT OF THE DAY
We have seven sports currently ranked in the top 20: No. 1 baseball, No. 3 equestrian, No. 3 football, No. 3 rifle, No. 14 men's track and field, No. 17 women's tennis and No. 18 men's tennis.

FOOTBALL IS BACK
It might not seem like it with the weather, but spring football is here! We'll be back on the practice field Saturday morning.

ON THE DOCKET
We have baseball and men's basketball home tonight. Baseball hosts Texas Southern at 6:30 p.m. in the make-up of last night's game, while men's basketball faces Texas Tech at 7 p.m. at Wilkerson-Greines. It's Walking Taco Wednesday at Lupton Stadium tonight. Baseball is also home this weekend for a three-game series against Cal Poly. First pitch is at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Friday will be Western Night. On Saturday, we'll have free rally towels for the first 500 fans. Sunday, as usual, is Kids Day.

Women's basketball will have its Senior Day on Saturday when it hosts Kansas State at 2 p.m. in the Rec Center. Men's basketball is at Oklahoma on Saturday in a 1 p.m. game. We also have equestrian and tennis at home this weekend. Equestrian will compete against South Dakota State on Saturday in Springtown. Women's tennis hosts Tulsa on Saturday at 11 a.m., while the men have two home matches on Sunday. We'll take on Wisconsin at noon and Incarnate Word at 4:30 p.m. It's Big 12 Championship week for our swimming and diving and indoor track and field programs.
Swimming and diving began competition today in Austin, while the indoor track and field meet will be held in Ames, Iowa, and begin Friday. Men's golf will head to Tucson, Ariz., this weekend for the National Invitational Tournament.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Ted Knight, as Judge Smails in Caddyshack, arguably the funniest movie ever made, said to grandson Spaulding, "You'll get nothing, and like it!"
This Week: "The football team at my high school, they were tough. After they sacked the quarterback, they went after his family."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Many of the athletic fields on Ocean State University's (OSU) campus are still buried in snow. The cleanup is too much for the limited facilities staff, so many of the student-athletes have had to help clear and line the fields for practices and games. If the coaches are supervising the student-athletes with this field preparation, does the time spent have to count as a countable athletically related activity?
No. NCAA Official Interpretation - 12/21/11 - Student-Athlete Performing Required Field or Facility Preparation or Maintenance (I) - states that field or facility preparation or maintenance that is performed by a student-athlete, related to practice or competition and required, supervised or monitored by a coaching staff member, is not a countable athletically related activity.
