Thach, a native of Burien, Wash., had a clutch outing late in the meet against SMU last week when he finished first in the 200 IM (1:51.96) to bring the team within five points. With the meet on the line, he anchored the winner-take-all 400 free relay. Thach's back-to-back wins to finish the meet helped the Horned Frogs earn their third win in program history over the Mustangs.
TCU's swimming and diving team will return to action on Nov. 6 when they travel to Ames, Iowa to take on Iowa State and South Dakota.
Hancock, a native of Anchorage, Alaska, scored a 98 and defeated South Dakota State's Natalie Howard in Equitation on the Flat (98-87). Her score of 98 set a program record, regular-season NCEA record and a Big 12 record.
The Frogs return to action on the road this weekend to take on K-State Friday, followed by a trip to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State on Saturday.
