PURPLE OUT
It's a Purple Out for our Black Friday home football game with Baylor. Make sure to wear purple and arrive early!
NEW SECURITY MEASURES
As a reminder, our new security measures are to provide the safest environment possible at our home athletics contests.
Beginning with Friday's 2 p.m. home volleyball match versus West Virginia and the 6:30 p.m. football game against Baylor, only the following items will be permitted upon entrance into TCU athletics facilities:
*Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches
*One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
*One unopened bottle of water
*Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags
*Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at stadium/arena gates
Backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags will not be allowed. Due to increased security screening, fans are asked to arrive at stadium/arena gates earlier than normal.

FRIDAY DOUBLEHEADER
Make sure to remember it's a doubleheader Friday. Due to the football game, admission to the 2 p.m. volleyball match against West Virginia will be free. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a complimentary purple long sleeve "Beat Baylor" T-shirt. It's also a great opportunity to cheer on seniors Alexia Heist, Blaire Pickens and Sutton Sunstrum in their final home matches.

If you're attending just the volleyball match, we will offer free shuttle service from Travis Avenue Baptist Church (800 West Berry Street, Fort Worth, TX 76110) beginning at 12:30 p.m. This will be in addition to our full load of football gameday shuttles. Drop off will be in front of the BLUU for the volleyball match with pick up in front of the BLUU for the return to Travis Avenue Baptist.
UPCOMING TICKET DEADLINES
Don't forget to get your bowl ticket request submitted by the Monday, Dec. 7, deadline.
Baseball season ticket renewal information will be sent next week. The deadline for renewals is Friday, Jan. 8. Ticket prices will remain the same as last season. For the first time, TCU will offer season tickets for the Grass Hill general admission seating. The season ticket price for this area will be $165 and include all 30 home games plus first opportunity to purchase GA tickets for any possible NCAA Regional or Super Regional games.

AWARDS SEASON
Congratulations to Trevone Boykin and Josh Doctson! Trevone and Josh are one of three finalists for the Davey O'Brien Award and Biletnikoff Award, respectively. They will be in Atlanta Dec. 10 for The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN. We'll be one of just four schools to have more than one student-athlete at the show. It's tremendous recognition for two outstanding young men who have the Horned Frog Factor and truly represent us well.

SHARPSHOOTERS
We're very proud of our rifle program's start to the season. Our third-ranked squad improved to 8-0 with a Sunday victory at Army West Point.

ON THE DOCKET
In addition to our Friday home volleyball and football games, we have a home women's basketball game Saturday at 2 p.m. versus UT Rio Grande Valley (previously known as UTPA). Head Coach Raegan Pebley's squad is off to a 4-1 start. Men's basketball is 2-2 and continues play tonight in the Cancun Challenge with a 5 p.m. tip against Illinois State.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Brad Pitt as Billy Beane in "Moneyball," said, "It's hard not to be romantic about baseball." I tend to think Jim Schlossnagle might agree with that statement.

This Week's Question: "Fear causes hesitation, and hesitation will cause your worst fears to come true."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Two local men's basketball recruits signed NLIs with Ocean State University (OSU) earlier this week. They will be attending OSU's home opener on Saturday, and the OSU staff would like to have them introduced during the game.
FACT OR FICTION
1. OSU can use social media to publicize the signees' visit to campus for the game. FACT
2. OSU can have the signees introduced during the game as long as the media and/or the coaches are not with the signees during the introduction. FACT
3. OSU can allow the signees to sit in special seating along the court during the game. FICTION
NCAA Bylaw 13.10.3 - states that there are no restrictions on publicity related to a prospective student-athlete after he or she has signed a National Letter of Intent or the institution's written offer of admission and/or financial aid or after the institution has received his or her financial deposit in response to its offer of admission, except as set forth in Bylaw 13.10.1.
