FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU men's swimming team has been ranked No. 50 by CollegeSwimming.com after their performance at the Art Adamson Invitational last week in College Station.
The men's team (4-0) has ranked in the top-50 for the second time this season.
Junior Garrett Hills led the way for the Horned Frogs last week, earning a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 48.22. Hills' race was good for an NCAA "B" cut time and marked the third best of his career.
Sophomore Carlos Hunnicutt also added to TCU's success by posting a team-best 3:57.31 in the 400-yard IM, placing sixth.
Overall, the men's team tallied 729.83 points during the three-day meet.
No. 50 TCU returns to action on Jan. 16 when they host a conference meet against West Virginia at the University Recreation Center.
