The Rundown
The Horned Frogs blew away NMSU on the Hunt Seat side going 4-0 in Equitation over Fences and Equitation on the Flat, respectively.
Molly Peddicord earned her second-straight MOP honor in Equitation over Fences, improving to 3-0 overall on the young season. Jayme Omand dropped Remington Wilkie, 83-40, while Carley Barnett and Emery Hanson both earned points Thursday in the discipline.
In Equitation on the Flat, senior Nicole Diamantis upended Remington Wilkie, 85-56. With the win, she earned her first MOP honor of the season. Kari Hancock, Omand and Peddicord also won their points for the Frogs dropping Grace McMurry, Elizabeth Solomon and Chelsea Brady, respectively.
On the Western side, Carley Montemuro was dominate in Reining, capturing a point for the Purple and White en route to earning her first MOP accolade of the year. Chantz Stewart and Brooke Boyle also won their points for the Purple and White to secure a 3-2 win.
Rylee Morgan claimed the lone point for TCU in Horsemanship, defeating Rianna Storey, 74-73.
