No. 8 TCU Comes Up Short Friday

The Rundown
TCU got things rolling Friday with a 4-1 decision in Reining. For a second-straight week, Shelby St. Hilaire earned MOP accolades, dropping Kara Guertin, 66-62. Junior Carley Montemuro was also successful, upending Haiden De Jane, 68-62.5. With the win, she moved to 2-0 on the young season in the discipline. Chantz Stewart and Meloney Morris rounded out the Horned Frog notables, defeating Sarah Bouchard and Paisley Roberts, respectively.
On the Hunt Seat side, Molly Peddicord went 2-0 on the day between Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences, respectively. The junior posted her first MOP of the season in Fences with a 90-76 decision over Nora Jodrey. Jayme Omand posted the other point in the discipline, dropping Madison Butehorn, 87-83. Returning All-American Kari Hancock followed Peddicord's lead on the Flat with an 80-75 win over Erin Fry.
