TCU Muscle Milk Athletes Of The Week

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Paul Barjon of golf and Kristen Connolly of diving earned this week's title as TCU's Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week based on impressive performances.

The French native claimed individual honors and set a new Connecticut Cup record after shooting 11-under par. Barjon's final round score of 68 helped the Frogs finish 19-under par to set a tournament record.

The golf team concluded their final event of the fall in Connecticut. The spring schedule for TCU begins in February.

The senior diver from San Antonio, Texas set a school record in the 1-meter dive over the weekend with a score of 321.30. The previous record of 315.67 was set in 2007 by Jennifer Ferguson. Connolly's performance helped the women's team top Incarnate Word 144-99.

The women's swimming and diving team returns to action on Friday as they travel to Dallas for a two-day meet at SMU's Invitational.
