Post-Game Quotes
Texas 66, TCU 48
Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center
Attendance: 5,153
TCU head coach Trent Johnson
Opening statement
"Well, that was very disappointing. Going into the game, we knew they were going to pay a lot of attention to Kyan [Anderson] in the zone so there would be opportunities for open shots. I just didn't like our effort. There wasn't a lot I liked out there, but there will be more opportunities. There will be more opportunities in this league."
On Kenrich Williams' effort in the game
"He's been really consistent in terms of his effort. In athletics, when you play good teams, it tests what you're about. The thing I like about Kenrich is he can play against Michael Jordan and it won't dictate his approach. If you look at him from start to finish this year, that's the way he is in practice. He competes."
TCU sophomore Kenrich Williams
On Texas' style of play with their size in the post
"It was different, but that doesn't mean we can't stop being aggressive and attacking the rim. We weren't finishing at the basket."
On tonight's game
"It was mainly our rebounding and second chance points. In the end, they were more physical than us."
