The doubles duo of Dachs and Nunez claimed the doubles title on Sunday at the Cajun Classic in Lafayette, La.
After a thrilling super tiebreaker victory over Wake Forest in the semifinals, the duo posted a straight-sets victory over Trinh and Andrew Korinek of LSU in the finals to claim their first title of the season.
TCU will return to the court for the Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., on Sept. 28-Oct. 5.
Smith was the star of the TCU Molten Invitational over the weekend, totaling 55.5 points with 48 kills, seven blocks, 29 digs and four service aces to help lead the Frogs to four-straight victories.
Leading the Frogs in kills in three out of four matches and tying her career high in kills (17) against Abilene Christian, Smith's phenomenal performance earned her tournament MVP honors.
The Frogs travel to Texas Tech for their Big 12 opener on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. in Lubbock, Texas.
