GO PURPLE FRIDAYS
With our football opener just a couple weeks away, we'll soon begin the fifth season of our Go Purple Friday program. This community initiative encourages everyone to rally support for the Horned Frogs on Fridays prior to each home and road football game.
Fans are encouraged to wear their TCU purple on Fridays during football season to receive valuable discounts from participating merchants. The program already has more than 100 locations across Tarrant County where you can receive these discounts, and more are signing up daily. CLICK HERE for a complete list of participating merchants along with offers and features.
Corresponding with National College Colors Day, Go Purple Friday begins Aug. 29, the Friday before our home opener against Samford. The program will continue each week through our regular-season finale versus Iowa State on Dec. 6. If you are a business interested in participating in the program, CLICK HERE for more information.
AMP IT UP!
We hope you've enjoyed seeing our series of Amp It Up marketing videos that feature football student-athletes Sam Carter, Chucky Hunter and Kevin White. In case you've missed them, here are links to Part 1 and Part 2.

TICKET DELIVERIES
We're very excited to announce a new way to receive your football tickets. You can now choose mobile tickets as your preferred delivery method when ordering tickets. Mobile tickets are tickets delivered in Mobile PDF or Passbook format specifically designed for smartphones. There's no longer a need to print your tickets. Just present your smartphone with tickets at the gate. Please CLICK HERE to download your smartphone ticketing guide.
THE GOLDEN BEARS
We're excited to announce an upcoming home football series with Cal. We'll head to Berkeley for a Sept. 5, 2020 game, while the Golden Bears will come to Amon G. Carter Stadium on Sept. 11, 2021. Over the next eight seasons, we'll have home-and-homes with Minnesota (2014-15), Arkansas (2016-17), Ohio State (2018-19) and Cal (2020-21).

COLLEGE COLORS DAY
As a reminder, TCU is participating in the Spirit Cup competition and asking for your support. You can earn points for TCU by posting on Twitter and Instagram with the following hashtags: #collegecolors and #gofrogs. We can also earn bonus points when you download and share posts via the College Colors app. The school with the most points at the end of the competition receives a $10,000 donation towards its general scholarship fund. College Colors Day is Friday, Aug. 29. For more information, visit collegecolorsday.com.

NEW WEBSITE
We're currently in the development of a redesign for our website. When the new-look GoFrogs.com is launched in January 2015, we'll have the only custom-responsive site among the many schools utilizing CBS as their web host. The custom-responsive site enables users to see the same site whether on a mobile device, tablet, iPad or regular computer.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: For a second straight week, we went to Ben Stiller. It was during his brief appearance in Happy Gilmore when he said, "Good news, everybody, we're extending arts and crafts time by four hours today."
This Week: "You'll have bad times, but it'll always wake you up to the good stuff you weren't paying attention to."

C. It is not permissible to conduct an alumni game in the sport of soccer.
