BIG CHANGES COMING THIS FALL
In the spirit of our AMP IT UP theme for the 2014 football season, you'll see some big changes when coming to Amon G. Carter Stadium this fall. We'll start with longer tailgating hours. For morning and afternoon kickoffs only, the lots will now remain open for three hours after a game, instead of just 90 minutes. All lots will continue to open five hours before kickoff. Each fan can now bring one unopened bottle of water into the stadium on game day. For our in-game experience, we've made a substantial investment in new stadium speakers and free Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the stadium. We have also hired one of the nation's premier consultants to work with us on specifically enhancing the game-day presentation.
On the culinary side, we're excited to expand your dining options with the addition of Fred's burgers and Buffalo Bros pizza. We're also very proud of our new replay app available at www.gotcugameday.com. All of these changes are in direct response to your comments from the fan survey you completed last year and are intended to provide you even more value for your investment in TCU football.

MINI-PLANS AVAILABLE
As a reminder, we now have two football ticket mini-plans available. These seats in Sections 118 and 119 were made possible from seats held for the visiting team's band. Some opponents will not be bringing their band or are traveling with less than a full squad. Both plans are $150 per ticket and feature three games. The Purple plan includes Samford, Texas Tech and Iowa State. The White plan has Minnesota, Oklahoma State and Kansas State. You can see one game per month with either plan. Click Here for the link to place your order.

GOING VERTICAL
One of my favorite sayings, which I learned from TCU associate athletics director for operations T. Ross Bailey, is "going vertical." As you can see from the below photo, that's definitely the case with the new indoor practice facility at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium at Williams-Reilly Field. The steel is in the air. Major demo work has also started this week at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

MEMORABILIIA ALERT
We're currently in the planning stages of the 15,000-square foot TCU Hall of Honor, which will reside as the entrance to our new basketball home in October 2015. This facility will represent our tradition-rich history. To make sure we leave no stone unturned, please contact T. Ross Bailey (r.bailey@tcu.edu) if you have some historic memorabilia that you'd like to donate for our Hall of Honor.

MEDIA BLITZ CONTINUES
After taking part in Monday's Big 12 Media Day in Dallas with student-athletes Sam Carter, Joey Hunt, Chucky Hunter and David Porter, Gary Patterson's media blitz this week continues with a Thursday visit to ESPN. You can catch him on the likes of SportsCenter, College Football Live, SVP & Russillo and other ESPN programming.

LET'S TALK
Please mark your calendar for next Wednesday, July 30, at 3 p.m. We'll have our next online chat on GoFrogs.com.
SPANNING THE GLOBE
You have to love the below photo of Fred Hosey '66 and his wife, Judie, in Australia! Fred taught the koala bear to make the Horned Frogs sign at Featherdale Wildlife Park near the Blue Mountains outside of Sydney. If you have images to share of you and/or family and friends wearing TCU apparel or flashing the Horned Frogs sign from all points worldwide, please send them my way (delconte@tcu.edu) to share.

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: It was Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers who said, "I always knew I was never going to be a professional bull fighter, but that's not why I did it."
This Week: "Look, it's the African anteater ritual!"
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Back Board is an undergraduate student assistant coach for the men's basketball team at Ocean State University. Back attended a few meals with the coaches and recruits (official visits) over the weekend. The meals took place at the head coach's house and on campus. Was that permissible?
Yes. NCAA Staff Interpretation - 12/20/12 - Graduate Assistant Coach or Undergraduate Student Assistant Coach Receiving a Meal with Prospective Student-Athletes on Official Visits (I) - states that a graduate assistant coach or an undergraduate student assistant coach may receive a meal with a prospective student-athlete during the prospective student-athlete's official visit, within a 30-mile radius of the institution's campus.
