Both programs will return to their new home for the 2015-16 campaign.
"We've always taken pride in our relationship with the Fort Worth ISD and very much appreciate their assistance as a temporary facility for our men's basketball program," Del Conte said. "Our women's program will look to duplicate the great home-court atmosphere and advantage our volleyball team has enjoyed in the Rec Center."
TCU's new basketball home in 2015-16 will include redone locker rooms and team meeting areas for the men's and women's programs, a club for courtside seat holders as well as improved concession and restroom areas with all the modern amenities to enhance the fan experience.
The game floor will be lowered 5-to-7 feet with seats coming to the court level to provide a more intimate viewing atmosphere. There will also be a 15,000-square foot Hall of Fame and Welcome Center as the main entrance to the facility, which will include new administrative and coaches offices for most of the TCU athletics program.
