GREETINGS FROM OMAHA!
It's been great to see all the purple throughout the streets of Omaha and inside TD Ameritrade Park at the College World Series. We can't thank everyone enough for the tremendous support you're providing our baseball program. You might have noticed in several recent articles and social media posts that our student-athletes have commented on how much you mean to them.
Omaha loves the Frogs! The two-largest crowds thus far this week have been for our two games, including a Game 3 record 25,587 for Sunday's Texas Tech contest. We had 24,285 for the Virginia game.
Last night was another of those one run extra-inning games we're making famous. We now have an NCAA postseason record seven one-run games this year, and that's in just eight games! We play Ole Miss on Thursday at 7 p.m. The winner of that game would advance to play Virginia on Friday at 7 p.m.

CWS TICKET INFO
As we mentioned last week, we were provided an extremely limited number of College World Series tickets from the NCAA to allocate to our season-ticket holders and students. With the obvious heavy demand, we are completely sold out of our CWS allotment. If you are still looking for tickets, please try the official NCAA selling website at www.flashseats.com.
BIG 12 STRONG
With the Horned Frogs, Texas and Texas Tech in Omaha, this is just the 12th time in College World Series history that a conference has been represented by three schools. Big 12 strong!
FROG FACTOR
In yet another example of how we can impact others with a random act of kindness, please read the following piece about our chief financial officer Jack Hesselbrock: Click Here

RICHARD DURRETT
We were saddened Tuesday night to learn of the passing of Richard Durrett, arguably the most beloved member of our local media. A TCU graduate, Richard was a friend to all those who crossed paths with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Kelly, son Owen and daughter Alice.
FROM THE KITCHEN
I'd like to welcome Chef Jon Bonnell on board as our new caterer for the club and suite areas inside Amon G. Carter Stadium. I also want to personally thank Tim Love for his past work and efforts in this area. Tim is a friend, and he played an integral part in getting us up and running at the new Amon G. Carter Stadium.
DMC DEMOLITION
In case you haven't been by campus lately, the demolition work on Daniel-Meyer Coliseum is in full force. It's all part of our $59 million renovation that will provide our men's and women's programs with a new home for the 2015-16 season.

HOMECOMINGS
Please join in welcoming Zarnell Fitch home to TCU! Our former defensive lineman has returned to campus to assist our football program as its director of high school relations. Zarnell comes to us from Dallas Lincoln High School, where he served last season as head football coach. After his graduation from TCU in 2006, Zarnell worked as a football and academic services graduate assistant, before embarking on a playing career in the NFL.

SPANNING THE GLOBE
Included below is a great photo of John Choyce and his wife Gayle on the Swilcan Bridge on the 18th hole on the Old Course at St Andrews, Scotland. As summer vacations start for everyone, please feel free to send me (delconte@tcu.edu) any images you might have of TCU apparel and the Horned Frogs hand sign displayed from all points worldwide.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Cleveland Indians' power-hitting outfielder Pedro Cerrano, in Major League, said, "Hats for bats, keep bats warm."
This Week: In sticking with baseball for another week, "I need a regular guy. Not the guy in the Old Spice commercials."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Break Point is a tennis student-athlete at Ocean State University. Break's birthday is today, so the coaches would like to have cake and ice cream for Break and her teammates.
Is this permissible?
Yes. NCAA Bylaw 16.11.1.6 states that an institution may provide student-athletes with reasonable refreshments (e.g., soft drinks, snacks) for student-athlete educational and business meetings and, on an occasional basis, for celebratory events (e.g., birthdays). [R] (Adopted: 10/28/99)
KEEP IN TOUCH
Please let us know if you ever have any questions or concerns regarding our program. This is also your program and we value your feedback. We welcome all calls and emails.
Go Frogs!
