BIG 12 MEETINGS
Greetings from Arizona! Head football coach Gary Patterson, men's basketball coach Trent Johnson, women's basketball coach Raegan Pebley and associate athletics director/senior woman administrator Kim Johnson and I are enjoying very productive meetings with our Big 12 counterparts. Our conference has tremendous momentum and a great sense of teamwork throughout its membership. As you might have seen already, one of the key items we were proud to announce was that all our Big 12 men's basketball games next season will be televised on the ESPN Family of Networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS).
THANK YOU!
As we begin our upgrade process on Monday, May 12, a special thank you to all those who renewed their football season tickets and donor parking again this year. We anticipate another sellout of season tickets with 28,000 renewed. We will begin selling new or additional season tickets to our wait list in late May. If you requested to be on the upgrade list, you should have received an email today with your specific selection date and time to choose new locations. Please contact the ticket office if you want to be included.

THE STREAK
Congratulations to men's golf coach Bill Montigel and his student-athletes on earning a remarkable 25th-consecutive postseason appearance. If you're in the San Antonio area, make sure to drop by the Briggs Ranch Golf Club from May 15-17 to support your Horned Frogs in action in NCAA Regional play.
STAT OF THE DAY
Our men's golf run of 25 consecutive postseason appearances under Bill Montigel makes us one of just three programs nationally to accomplish the feat with the same head coach. Clemson and UNLV join us in that exclusive club. The 25-straight postseason trips also mark the longest current streak for any of our sports programs.

THE NEXT LEVEL
Congratulations to former TCU cheerleader Maddie Wilson on making the New England Patriots' cheerleading squad. A 2013 TCU graduate with a degree in nutrition, Maddie was in the John V. Roach Honors College and a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. The McKinney, Texas, native is currently in a combined masters program and dietetic internship at Tufts University. Maddie adds to the TCU Horned Frogs presence with the Patriots. As you know, former football standouts Josh Boyce and Marcus Cannon are currently with New England.
BIG WEEK
Speaking of the NFL, best wishes to all our draft hopefuls this week! Head Coach Gary Patterson will be joining Jason Verrett in New York. Jason was invited to the draft and gave the ultimate compliment to his former coach by extending an invitation to join him at Radio City Music Hall for this very special occasion.

ON THE DOCKET
How about our baseball program! We've won 12 in a row and 19 out of 20 while cracking the top 10 in the national rankings. We're also tied for the Big 12 lead heading into the season's final two weekends. Our last Big 12 home series begins Friday when we host Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. First pitch is 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Please also note the game time for Tuesday's regular-season home finale with UTA has been changed from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

POSTSEASON PLAY
Sanna Nuutinen will represent our women's golf program this weekend at the NCAA Central Regional in Stillwater, Okla. An All-Big 12 selection, Sanna is enjoying a career-best season with a 73.7 stroke average and seven top-20 finishes in 10 tournaments. Among her many impressive rounds this year was a school-record 64 in San Antonio.

TALKIN' TCU BASEBALL
Be sure to join head coach Jim Schlossnagle, catcher Kyle Bacak and pitcher Riley Ferrell at The Woodshed this Thursday at 6 p.m. for Talkin' TCU Baseball. You can also hear the show live on KTCU-FM 88.7. We very much appreciate Texas Motors Ford and Meridian Texas Bank for making this show possible.
MEET THE STAFF
Zach Etheredge has been a great addition this year to our baseball coaching staff. As a volunteer assistant, Zach is involved in all aspects of the program while working directly with our catchers. The Boerne, Texas, native came to us after serving the last two seasons as an assistant coach at my alma mater, UC Santa Barbara. Zach helped lead the Gauchos to an NCAA Regional appearance last year with UCSB catcher Jackson Morrow posting a 1.000 fielding percentage and throwing out 56 percent of base stealers. Zach has also been an assistant in the Cape Cod League. A two-time All-Southland Conference catcher at UTSA, Zach ranks in the top 10 in most of the school's career offensive categories. He went on to sign with the Chicago White Sox.
LET'S TALK
Please mark your calendar for next Wednesday, May 14, at 3 p.m. CDT for our next online chat on GoFrogs.com.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Eddie Murphy, as Billy Ray Valentine in Trading Places, said, "I ain't gonna have no money to buy my son the G.I. Joe with the kung-fu grip!"
This Week's Quote: "These numbers all go to eleven."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Corner Blitz is a junior football prospect that is interested in enrolling at Ocean State University (OSU) for the fall 2015 term. Corner has not yet had an opportunity to visit campus and has only had limited conversations with the coaching staff. Corner is going to attend one of OSU's football camps this summer and would really like to spend some time during the camp speaking with the coaching staff and getting a tour of the whole campus. Is this permissible?
No. NCAA Official Interpretation - 12/5/13 - Contact Restrictions Prior to Camps or Clinics (I) - states that for purposes of contact restrictions on the day or days of a prospective student-athlete's competition, a non-institutional, private camp or clinic is considered an athletics competition or athletics event and an institutional camp or clinic is not considered an athletics competition or event. Therefore, in sports other than basketball, a coaching staff member may make recruiting contacts during a permissible contact period with a prospective student-athlete participating in a non-institutional, private camp or clinic only after the completion of activities on the final day of the camp or clinic. Conversely, official or unofficial visits may occur on an institution's campus on the day of an institutional camp or clinic before the camp or clinic begins. KEEP IN TOUCH Please let us know if you ever have any questions or concerns regarding our program. This is also your program and we value your feedback. We welcome all calls and emails.
