CONFERENCE MEETINGS
This week's edition comes during three days of meetings in Irving with my Big 12 counterparts. Many of the topics being discussed are what you've been reading about on the national landscape.
BIG 12 CHAMPIONS!
Between Julien Brun in men's golf, Jordan Moore in men's outdoor track and field, Simona Parajova in women's tennis and now baseball, we've had a nice run lately with Big 12 championships! Congratulations to head coach Jim Schlossnagle and his baseball program on a great run in Oklahoma City, sweeping through the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship undefeated to capture our historic first Big 12 team title! It was an incredible feeling for our student-athletes to share the championship with so many of you who made the trip to Oklahoma City. You were truly heard and appreciated by those on the field.

NATIONAL SEED
In addition to being Big 12 champions, it was great to see our baseball program rewarded with its first-ever national seed. If we can win this week's Regional, we will host the Super Regional next weekend. The Road to Omaha and the College World Series goes through Fort Worth!

REGIONAL TICKET INFORMATION
We welcome Dallas Baptist, Sam Houston State and Siena to town this weekend for the Fort Worth Regional. Tickets will initially be sold as All-Session reserved seat packages only. This package includes tickets to each game with a maximum of seven possible games. They are currently available only to season-ticket holders and must be purchased today by 5 p.m.
All-Session prices are $60 for adults and $45 for youth (ages 3-17). This is a substantial savings as single game reserved tickets, if available after expected high demand for All-Sessions, will not be sold until the first game and will be $20 for adults and $15 for youth per game. All seats at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium and Williams-Reilly Field will be sold as reserved seats. There will not be General Admission. Once all reserved seats are sold, Standing Room Only will be available on the Grass Hill down the first-base line. These SRO tickets will be $15 each and only be sold after all reserved seats have been purchased.
If All-Session packages remain, they will be available to the general public Thursday beginning at 8 a.m. Please call (817) 257-FROG (3764) to purchase your tickets.

HORNED FROGS IN ITALY
Our volleyball program is currently in Italy, competing against some of the top teams in the country. They left Milan today and are now en route to Venice, before hitting Pisa and Rome. You can follow their travels via @TCUvolleyball as well as GoFrogs.com.

CONGRATS LT!
How about LaDainian Tomlinson headed to the College Football Hall of Fame! We're very proud of LT on this tremendous honor. As Coach Patterson said, LT is a great ambassador for TCU. It was a tremendous statement for LT to return to campus, five years after his final game, to complete work on his degree and become a TCU graduate. LT becomes our 11th member of the College Football Hall of Fame. We rank third among Big 12 institutions with our 11 College Football Hall of Famers.

NEW HOME
The $59 million renovation of Daniel-Meyer Coliseum is in full demolition mode. It's quite visible on the exterior, while work on the inside will begin shortly. We'll be regularly posting photos and video to provide you updates on the new home for our men's and women's basketball programs.

A HAT TRICK OF HORNED FROGS
It was great to see purple as the dominant color at last weekend's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. With Julien Brun, Franklin Corpening and J.J. Henry representing current and past products of our men's golf program, the TCU Nation was well represented at Colonial Country Club. We very much appreciate all of you who made it out and followed our Horned Frogs on the course.
ON THE DOCKET
In addition to the Baseball Regional we're hosting, our track and field program will also be in action this weekend. We have 25 entries for the NCAA West Preliminaries in Fayetteville, Ark.

MEET THE STAFF
Zach Dechant is in his sixth year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He works directly with our baseball program while also assisting with football. Prior to arriving at TCU, Zach worked in professional baseball with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He also had collegiate stops at Wyoming, Missouri State and Washington. Zach received a bachelor's degree in health and wellness from Missouri State in 2003.

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: I'm sure many of you know we dipped into Superbad, when McLovin was misidentified with the following line, "It's you, McMuffin!"
This Week's Question and Answer Quote: "What do you need a fake I.D. for? So I can vote."
