CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES
Congratulations to the more than 1,600 TCU students, including 42 student-athletes, who took part in Saturday's commencement in Amon G. Carter Stadium. Dare to be great!
UPGRADE SEASON
We're very much on target for a third-consecutive sellout of 32,000 football season tickets. We're currently at 28,000. Our ticket office has definitely been hopping this week with the start of the upgrade process on renewals. In late May, we will begin selling new or additional season tickets to our wait list.

PACIOLAN EXTENSION
We're excited to announce a continuation of our partnership with Paciolan that dates back to 1994. We've utilized Paciolan for all aspects of our ticket operations, including the Horned Frogs Priority Points System and Ballena visualization of Amon G. Carter Stadium that you've become very familiar with the last couple years.
SAN DIEGO BOUND
We're very proud of Jason Verrett becoming the 11th first-round NFL Draft pick in TCU history with his selection by the San Diego Chargers. Jason represents what's right about intercollegiate athletics. He earned his degree and was truly appreciative of his TCU experience. It was very rewarding to hear him say that coming to TCU was the best decision of his life.
FOLLOW RAEGAN
Raegan Pebley, our new women's basketball coach, is back on Twitter and a fun follow. Make sure to check her out at @RaeganPebleyTCU.

NEW HORNED FROGS
Coach Pebley has announced some great additions to her women's basketball staff. Please join me in welcoming new assistant coaches Edwina Brown, Hanna Howard and Crystal Robinson to the Horned Frogs family! Including Raegan, the TCU women's basketball staff has 16 years of playing experience in the WNBA. If you and your buddies play some pick-up ball, the ultimate challenge might be to take on the TCU women's basketball coaches in a game of 4-on-4.

PACKING THEM IN
Our baseball program very much appreciates everyone who helped pack the stands for our three-game home series with Oklahoma. The total attendance of 11,370 marked our largest weekend of the season. It's made even more impressive when you consider we're at the end of the semester and most of our students had already departed campus.

ON THE DOCKET
This is truly a big weekend of competition for us. Our ninth-ranked baseball program, with its sights on a Big 12 championship, closes the regular season with a three-game series at Baylor. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m. for all three contests beginning Thursday. The Thursday and Friday games will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest with Saturday's contest on FSSW+. We're currently just one game behind Oklahoma State in the conference standings. Track and field heads to Lubbock for the Big 12 Championships, while men's golf will be in San Antonio for NCAA Regional play. It's the 25th-consecutive postseason appearance for head coach Bill Montigel and our men's golf program.
MEET THE STAFF
Shawn Redd is a facilities and game operations assistant under associate athletics director T. Ross Bailey. Among his myriad of duties, Shawn oversees the grounds crew for baseball and the one who makes the infield, mound and home plate look and play great. Shawn is also the visiting team liaison for our football opponents on game day in addition to operating the DVSport replay system for men's and women's home basketball contests. A native of Garland, Texas, Shawn has a pair of degrees from TCU. He has a bachelor's in communication studies and a master's in communication research. In his spare time, Shawn is the head coach for the Dallas Patriots 16-under travel baseball team.
LET'S TALK
As a reminder, our next online chat on GoFrogs.com is today at 3 p.m. We'll answer whatever is on your mind.
BIG 12 CORNER
The Big 12 continues to be ranked second nationally in RPI in baseball. Six teams are in the top 40, including the Horned Frogs at No. 13, with all nine programs in the top 100.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Nigel Tufnel, lead guitarist in Spinal Tap, was showing off his new amplifiers when he said, "These numbers all go to 11."
This Week's Quote: "That was a crummy Wyatt Earp, dad. He was wearing jogging shoes."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
A men's basketball assistant coach at Ocean State University (OSU) left last week to become a head coach at another institution. OSU does not want to fall behind in recruiting, so the head coach would like to elevate the director of basketball operations to a countable coach until they hire a replacement. The director of basketball operations has taken and passed the coaches' exam. Is this permissible?
Yes. NCAA Staff Interpretation - Staff Interpretation - 4/26/13 - Non-Countable Coaches and Non-Coaching Staff Members Serving as Countable Coaches (I) - states that an institution may temporarily employ and compensate a non-countable coach (e.g., volunteer coach) or non-coaching staff member as a countable coach if the regular countable coach has left the program, provided the institution does not exceed the total number of countable coaches for the sport. Further, the non-countable coach or non-coaching staff member may return to his or her original position once a permanent countable coach is employed by the institution.
