TCU Announces Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas - Men's swimming's Josh Mangus and women's basketball's Chelsea Prince have been named TCU's Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week for their recent performances.
Mangus, a senior from Encinitas, Calif., swam the final leg of the school record-setting 200 medley relay on Friday night at the Art Adamson Invitational, with a time of 1:28.09. He followed it up Saturday night by helping set another school-best in the 400 free relay, clocking in at 2:57.87. He also posted NCAA "B" cut times in three events: 100 back (48.47), 200 back prelims (1:44.76) and the 200 back finals (1:44.42), finishing third in both 200 back events.
Mangus and the Horned Frogs break for the fall and will return to action on Thursday, Jan. 8, in a double dual with Florida International and Central Connecticut State in Miami, Fla.
Prince, a senior forward, tallied 18 points and matched a career high 12 rebounds in the win over SMU, 73-63, last Wednesday. A hometown kid from Fort Worth, Prince put up eight points, five boards and three assists on Saturday night in the 69-52 victory against Texas Southern. This season, she leads the team in rebounds with 35, averaging 8.8 per game.
Prince and the women's basketball team travels to Boulder, Colo., for the OMNI Classic, squaring off against Colorado State on Friday, Nov. 28.
