TCU Announces Scholar-Athletes of the Month

FORT WORTH, Texas - Football's Joey Hunt and soccer's Michelle Prokof have been named the TCU Scholar-Athletes of the Month for
September for their work on and off the field.
Hunt, a junior from El Campo, Texas, has started at center in all four games of the season. Hunt has been a pivotal part of the revamped TCU offense this season, his second starting at center. He was also named to the second team Academic All-Big 12 squad in 2013.
Hunt and the Horned Frog football team travel to Waco on Saturday for a top-10 showdown with Baylor at 2:30 p.m.Prokof, a sophomore from Gurnee, Ill., has started all 13 matches of the season. During their six-game win streak in September, Prokof recorded three of the four game-winning goals for TCU. She also has tallied three crucial assists this season.
Prokof and the TCU soccer team travels north on I-35 for a pair of games with Oklahoma State on Friday and Oklahoma on Sunday.
