Oct. 15, 2014 HOMECOMING AT THE CARTER!
We still have a limited number of tickets remaining for Saturday's top-15 matchup between our 12th-ranked Horned Frogs and the No. 15 Oklahoma State Cowboys. You can order online at www.GoFrogs.com or by calling our Athletics Ticket Office at (817) 257-FROG (3764).
Just like we had for the Oklahoma game, we need a great home-field advantage. All of you, and especially the students, were incredible in arriving early, being loud and staying late for our win over the Sooners. Please continue to support our student-athletes in this terrific manner. Head Coach Gary Patterson has referred to you as difference makers.

A PURPLE AND WHITE COLOR BLOCK
We truly appreciate the great job everyone has done with our color blocking of the Amon G. Carter Stadium stands this fall. Saturday's Oklahoma State game will be a reverse of what we had for OU. The west side is being asked to wear white with the east side in purple. If you're in the end zone and unsure, please refer to your game ticket. Everyone's individual ticket is marked each game with what color to wear, based on your seat location.
TCU BASKETBALL MEET THE FROGS
We hope to see you tomorrow night, Oct. 16, from 7 to 8 p.m. at our TCU Men's and Women's Basketball Meet The Frogs in the University Rec Center. We'll have the players and coaches from both teams present as we celebrate the upcoming season! Free Raising Canes and Steel City Pops for the first 400 fans! Enjoy autographs, food, games, prizes, shooting contests and TCU Spirit during our fun-filled hour.

TICKET DEADLINE
Please note that Friday, Oct. 17, is the deadline to renew your basketball season tickets. Being a season-ticket holder this year will guarantee you the best seats when our new basketball facility opens next season. Visit GoFrogs.com or call (817) 257-FROG (3764) to renew your tickets.

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: As I'm sure you know, Fast Times at Ridgemont High is arguably my favorite movie. It was lead character Jeff Spicoli who said after an unfortunate car mishap, "Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it."
This Week: "Nice par, David."
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Bo Gee is a golf student-athlete who withdrew from Ocean State University during the second week of classes. Bo was receiving a 50 percent scholarship and the coaches would like to re-award that aid to another student-athlete this semester. Is that permissible?
No. The aid may not be re-awarded until the subsequent term. NCAA Bylaw 15.3.4.2 states that institutional financial aid based in any degree on athletics ability may be reduced or canceled during the period of the award if the recipient: (Revised: 1/10/92, 1/11/94, 1/10/95, 1/9/96, 12/13/05, 9/11/07)
(a.) Renders himself or herself ineligible for intercollegiate competition;
(b.) Fraudulently misrepresents any information on an application, letter of intent or financial aid agreement (see Bylaw 15.3.4.2.3);
(c.) Engages in serious misconduct warranting substantial disciplinary penalty (see Bylaw 15.3.4.2.4); or
(d.) Voluntarily (on his or her own initiative) withdraws from a sport at any time for personal reasons; however, the recipient's financial aid may not be awarded to another student-athlete in the academic term in which the aid was reduced or canceled. A student-athlete's request for written permission to contact another four-year collegiate institution regarding a possible transfer does not constitute a voluntary withdrawal.
