KEY NOTES FOR SATURDAY'S HOME OPENER
Our parking lots will open Saturday at 6 a.m., five hours before the 11 a.m. kickoff versus Southeastern Louisiana. The lots will close 90 minutes after the game.
To address any concerns, we will have complimentary water and hydration areas in sections 101, 109, 121, 127, 401 and 413. Each fan will be allowed to bring in one bottle of water.

FROG ALLEY AND FROG WALK
Our very popular Frog Alley, presented by Billy Bob's Texas, will be open from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Head Coach Gary Patterson needs you to be there by 8:30 to greet the team buses when they arrive in the Northeast corner of the stadium. Our football team will then begin its Frog Walk through Frog Alley and past the Horned Frog statue. Throughout the morning, we'll have live music by the Dick Beldings, while Kincaid's Hamburgers will highlight our food and beverage area that includes beer and wine available for purchase. Other features of Frog Alley on Saturday will be our TCU Team Store, a 10:15 a.m. performance by the TCU Band, Cheerleaders and Showgirls and our soccer team signing autographs from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

FORT WORTH DAY
As part of Fort Worth Day, we'll have the herd drovers on horseback leading our team down Frog Alley. There will be Longhorn steer and pony photo opportunities for children. We'll also have Texas Legends Cowboys walking around Frog Alley as well as the Fort Worth Herd's Cow Camp teaching roping. Amon Carter Museum will have an arts and crafts demonstration in which kids will be making SuperFrog hats. We'll also have the usual face painters, bounce houses and a station for airbrush hats.

NEW FEATURES
Two new video board features will debut at our Saturday home football opener: Big 12 Conference look-ins and Tagboard. The Big 12 has teamed with FOX Sports to provide highlights from other conference games in progress. On Saturday, the only other game in progress is Oklahoma State at UTSA. We plan to show highlights, as they are made available, throughout our game.
Tagboard is a new feature that will allow fans to see their social media posts, tweets, pictures and videos on the big screens at Amon G. Carter Stadium. All you have to do is use a game-specific hashtag within Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Vine, and watch the board when we go to the Tagboard feature. This week's hashtag is #TCUFortWorth in honor of Fort Worth Day.
NEW NAMES
Many of you are familiar with the Horned Frog Sports Report, distributed twice weekly via email to our Frog Club members. Beginning Friday, this piece will be rebranded as the Frog Club Sports Report. Keep an eye out for our next edition with all the latest news on our athletics program and Frog Club.
COLLEGE COLORS DAY
We truly appreciate the TCU Horned Frogs Nation rising to the challenge and allowing us to finish first in the Big 12 and a very impressive fifth overall nationally in the College Colors Day Spirit Cup online fan contest. A special tip of the cap goes to Deanna Damon and Austin Price in our marketing office for running point on this project. p>

HONOR ROLL
Congratulations to soccer's Vittoria Arnold and football's B.J. Catalon on their Big 12 weekly awards. Vittoria was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week after allowing just one goal in over 200 minutes against LSU and Houston Baptist. B.J. earned selection as the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week after his 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against LSU.

ON THE DOCKET
We have three days of home athletics events for you this weekend. Our soccer program will make its 2013 home debut with a pair of matches wrapped around our Saturday 11 a.m. football game versus Southeastern Louisiana. Head Coach Eric Bell's squad, which is 2-1-1, hosts Illinois State on Friday at 7 p.m. and North Texas on Sunday at noon. Volleyball, after winning two of three matches at a season-opening tournament at the University of Georgia, continues on the road with a Midwest swing. We'll play at Illinois-Chicago on Thursday before heading to Milwaukee to take on USC and Marquette.

BIG 12 CORNER
The Big 12 ranks second with seven appearances in the BCS National Championship Game and is second with 96 football consensus All-America selections in that time. .

MEET THE STAFF
Jason Tanaka is in his 12th year with our volleyball program, including the last 10 seasons as our associate head coach. A native of Huntington Beach, Calif., Jason is a graduate of the University of Arizona. Prior to arriving at TCU, he served in assistant coach capacities at his alma mater, Baylor and Pittsburgh. Jason is highly respected in the volleyball ranks and has regularly been selected to work with USA Volleyball and its developmental programs.

SPANNING THE GLOBE
In this week's edition of the Horned Frogs Nation showing their pride from all points worldwide, we see former TCU baseball standout Ben Carruthers at his recent wedding to fellow TCU graduate Bridget Tiernan in the Dominican Republic. Ben worked in our marketing office before going into sales with the Texas Rangers. In the below photo, you might recognize some of Ben's former TCU teammates like Matt Vern, Corey Steglich and Ryan Pack. If you have some great images to share, please send them my way (delconte@tcu.edu).

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Jim Carrey, as Lloyd Christmas, opened Dumb and Dumber with, "That's a lovely accent you have. New Jersey? Austria? Ha, well then. G-day mate! Let's put another shrimp on the barbie."

This Week's Quote: "The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me." Make sure to check back next week for the answer.
COMPLIANCE CORNER
This week's topic centers around required days off:
Q: When scheduling out-of-season workouts, can student-athletes serve the required days off on different days?
A: Yes. Required days off (for both in-season and out-of-season) apply individually to each student-athlete, as opposed to requiring the entire team to take the same day or days off per week.
