NEW ROLES AND PROMOTIONS
We're proud to announce the promotions of Mike Sinquefield to associate director of athletics for administration and Matt Lewis to director of football operations. I'm sure many of you are familiar with "Sinq" from his 19 years in our football program. In his new role, Mike will have oversight of football and other administrative duties. We're equally excited for Matt, who has served TCU the last 10 years as our director of equipment services. He will now become an even more integral part of Gary Patterson's staff. Please join me in congratulating Mike and Matt on their new roles.

FOOTBALL SEASON TICKET UPDATE
After setting a TCU record with 31,282 football season tickets sold last year, we now have another new mark this season with 31,425. Our renewal rate was an impressive 93 percent with over 65 percent of fans making a change to their location during our upgrade phase. We also sold almost 2,000 season tickets to those on our wait list from last year. We do have less than 200 football season tickets remaining available for purchase. The majority of these seats are located in the South End Zone. If interested, please contact our athletics ticket office at (817) 257-FROG (3764) or drop by its location in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

TEAM USA
We have quite the presence on the USA Collegiate National Baseball Team. With head coach Jim Schlossnagle, pitchers Riley Ferrell, Brandon Finnegan and Preston Morrison, media relations director Brandie Davidson, athletics trainer Danny Wheat and bat boy Jackson Schlossnagle, the Horned Frogs are well represented. The below photo was taken in Utsunomiya, Japan, after a victory over Japan.

A LOYAL HORNED FROG
How about Matt Carpenter flashing the Horned Frogs sign during Tuesday night's All-Star Game introductions! Congratulations to Matt on his well-deserved selection to the game. He's representing the St. Louis Cardinals with the same class as when he wore a TCU uniform.

MEET THE FROGS
Football season is truly just around the corner! Please mark your calendar for Saturday, Aug. 24, when our annual Meet The Frogs event will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility.
WOMEN'S CLINIC APPROACHING
We still have spots open for Thursday's 6:30 p.m. Gary Patterson Women's Football Clinic in the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. Make your reservation now by clicking here.

HONOR ROLL
The TCU-IMG Sports Network, in partnership with Community Trust Bank, recently won a Hermes Creative Award for its "TCU Community Hero of the Game presented by Community Trust Bank." At each home football game for the past several seasons, the TCU Community Hero of the Game honors special people in our community who make a difference in the lives of others. The ceremony includes a game ball and a donation by the bank to a charity of the person's choosing. This is quite an honor considering the Hermes Creative Award is an international competition voted on by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.

ON THE LINKS
Former TCU golfers J.J. Henry and Angela Stanford always represent us well. In case you missed it this past weekend, both recorded top-10 finishes. J.J. tied for seventh at the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Ill., while Angela finished second, after being in a three-hole playoff, at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. During Sunday's final-round coverage on Golf Channel, check out Angela showing her TCU pride in the below photo.

BIG 12 CORNER
With 10 members, the Big 12 remains the only major conference in the nation to determine its champions in all sports directly on the field of play with a full round-robin schedule.

LET'S TALK
Our next online chat on GoFrogs.com will be July 31 at 4 p.m. CDT.
MEET THE STAFF
Kyle Kuykendall is in his fourth year at TCU and second as an assistant athletic trainer. He works directly with our football program in addition to handling our Gatorade orders and inventory. Kyle's first two years as a Horned Frog were as a graduate assistant. He then worked one year at the Texas Health Care Bone and Joint Clinic in Fort Worth with our team doctors Steve Brotherton, Joe Milne and Steve Meyers. Kyle is a native of Lindsay, Okla., and a graduate of Oklahoma State, where he was a student trainer for four years with the Cowboys' football and wrestling teams. Kyle and his wife, Jami, have two young sons: Kyson and Kase.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Andy Burrell was a TCU football letterman for his work on special teams and at safety from 2005-08. He was part of four bowl victories and the winningest senior class in history at the time. He has since become a rising media star. He has covered everything from Super Bowls to college football's national championship game, major league baseball and the NBA. He was even a personal assistant to Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin. After working in TV in Lafayette, La., Andy just relocated to Memphis to become a sports anchor and reporter for WANT-TV 24 (ABC). His Horned Frogs experience will fit in perfectly as he will be covering the University of Memphis football team, coached by former TCU assistant Justin Fuente.

SPANNING THE GLOBE
In this week's edition of the Horned Frogs Nation showing their pride from all points worldwide, we see 2011 TCU graduate Audrey Burkhart, who recently accepted a position as center and outreach coordinator for the Dance Theatre of Ireland. Audrey is pictured on the cliffs in Howth, north of Dublin, with the Irish Sea behind her. If you have some great images to share, please send them my way (delconte@tcu.edu).

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Will Ferrell as Chaz Reinhold in Wedding Crashers said, "Hey, ma! Can we get some meatloaf?"

This Week's Quote: "I feel the need...the need for speed." Make sure to check our next edition for the answer.
COMPLIANCE CORNER
If a student-athlete's name or picture appears on commercial items (e.g., t-shirts, sweatshirts, playing cards, posters, photographs) or is used to promote a commercial product sold by an individual or agency without the student-athlete's knowledge or permission, the student-athlete (or the institution acting on behalf of the student-athlete) is required to take steps to stop such an activity in order to retain his or her eligibility for intercollegiate athletics. A student-athlete will lose his/her eligibility for participation in intercollegiate athletics if the individual: (a.) Permits the use of his or her name or picture to advertise, recommend or promote directly the sale or use of a commercial product or service of any kind regardless of whether any compensation was received; or (b.) Receives remuneration for endorsing a commercial product or service through the individual's use of such product or service.
